I'm Marina, and I've been exploring cold wax painting for over a decade. My journey with this medium has been transformative—it opened up a whole new world of texture, depth, and creative expression that I never knew was possible. I created this course because I remember how overwhelming it felt when I first started. There was so much conflicting information, and I made every mistake you can imagine! Through years of experimentation, teaching workshops, and connecting with thousands of students worldwide, I've refined these techniques into a clear, step-by-step system. My teaching philosophy is simple: give you permission to play, experiment, and find your own voice. Cold wax is forgiving and versatile—perfect for both beginners and experienced painters looking to add new dimensions to their work. What's the difference between Cold Wax Medium and Powerwax?⌄
Cold Wax Medium is solvent-based and mixes with oil paints. Powerwax is water-based and mixes with acrylics. Both create gorgeous matte, textured finishes, and this course teaches you to work with either one.
