Building textures in a cold wax and oil painting

When painting in cold wax medium and oils, I always start with a few base layers before I add a figure or a face in my paintings. In this video, I will show you how I build up my layers to create textures and a 'busy' background. My paintings are becoming more and more 'mixed media' since I often add pan pastels, soft pastels, inks, neo colour II's but my first layers are always built up like this. You will find the colours I used below. I hope you enjoy watching the process! Don't hesitate to ask if you have questions on the process!
