Can You Use Delaminating Inks on an Acrylic Background?
One of my Texture Lab students recently asked me a lovely question: could the delaminating inks I used over a cold wax and oils background also be used on acrylics?
I was curious too, so I took the question into my studio and had a little experiment.
The inks behave differently on an acrylic surface, but that is often where the interesting things happen. I love these small experiments, you begin with a question, try something without knowing exactly where it will lead, and suddenly a new possibility opens up.
